KAJIAN URINE SISWA IPA DAN IPS DI SMAN 1 PURWOREJO (STUDY OF THE URINE OF SCIENCE AND SOCIAL STUDENT AT SMA N 1 PURWOREJO)

Abstract

Urination is one of the form of excretion. The composition of urine can be
affected by several things such as food and beverages consumption, physiology
condition or a disruption on the excretion system. Generally, the urination keeps
the health of our body and keeps our body’s homeostasis. The result of observation
shows that there is a different between student from science and social class. In daily
life, both of them has a different habit or activity. This difference of activities may
affect their psychology activities and the urine that their excrete. In this research, the
research problem was to figure out how far the difference of the urine of science and
social students.
10 urine samples of science student and 10 urine samples of social student
were used in this research. This research done using chemical analysis such as
determination of pH of the urine, microscopic observation, glucose and protein
determination of urine.
According to the result, it can be conclude that the pH and the glucose
content of the science’s student urine was higher than the social student. Based on
the interview, chemical analysis data and microscopic observation, it was found that
this phenomenon caused by the irregular diet or stressed.
