APAKAH BENAR ANGGAPAN BAHWA WHATSAPP ADALAH APLIKASI PESAN LINTAS PLATFORM ORANG TUA? (IS IT TRUE THAT THE ASSUMPTION OF WHATSAPP IS A CHARACTERISTIC CHATTING PLATFORM FOR OLDSTERS?)

Abstract

Technology development which has grown fast brings quite big impacts to the
humankinds, especially be communication field. Nowadays, distant communication has been
easily reached by gadgets. That can be applied most using applications in recent years.
Neverthless, in Indonesia most of us consider that WhastApp is mostly used by the olders
whereas Line is by the youngsters. The “olders” word here does not only imply to the people
who are old on their ages but in this case is connected into the adults or the people who have
been married or have family by their own. Therefore in this research will be proven about the
previous consideration and also the reasons behind why WhatsApp application is mostly used
by the olders. The research has been done by giving some online and offline questionairs to
very societies. This method is used to gain many responds from different ages participants.
For the result, it has been proven that most of the people around use WhatsApp application.
From The statement, it is taken clearly or can be said as a fact that the application tends to
be used by the adults. Even though it is said so, whatever applications should be wisely used
and in right portion of their usage. Thus, our social life won’t be taken away by modern
technology nowadays.
